The Temple College Leopards volleyball team began the first of six consecutive road games with a trip to Beeville to take on the Coastal Bend College Cougars.

The Leopards struggled to gain momentum and was dealt a straight-set loss at the hands of the Cougars.

Scores of the match were 25-16, 25-19, and 25-17.

Temple collected 25 digs, 23 assists, and 23 kills.

Grace Schneider led TC with kills with eight, and Yasmine Traore added seven kills to go with four digs.

Karlee Williamson had 23 assists, and Sarah Rodriguez had nine digs to pace the Leopards.

Temple will travel to Irving on Thursday to take on Dallas College North Lake. The Leopards defeated the Blazers on Monday at Kirby Johnson Court, 3-2.
