TC women’s basketball heads northwest to take on Weatherford College on Wednesday

The Temple College women's basketball will play its third North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference road game of the season on Wednesday as they take on Weatherford College at the Betty Graber Center.

Tip time at Graber Center is slated for 5 pm

Temple (11-7 overall, 3-4 road, 1-3 NTJCAC) is coming off a 68-61 loss to Hill College College at Kirby Johnson Court on Saturday.

Weatherford (9-6 overall, 4-3 road, 1-3 NTJCAC) is coming off an 82-76 loss to Southwestern Christian College on Saturday afternoon in Terrell.

When the teams met three times in 2025, Weatherford won the first game on Jan. 22 at the Danny Scott Athletic Complex, 70-63.

Temple won at the Graber Center on Feb. 22, 73-62.

On March 10, the Coyotes defeated the Leopards at Region V Tournament, 78-64.

Through 18 games, Temple averages 64.5 points per game and allows 56.1. The Leopards average 32% from the floor, 28.3% from beyond the three-point arc, and convert 63.7% at the free-throw line.

Offensively, the Leopards average 18.6 boards per game, ninth nationally. Defensively, the Leopards pull down 30.3 rebounds per game, 14th nationally. Overall, Temple averages 48.9 rebounds per game (8th nationally), with a margin of 17.1 per game (tied for tenth best with Vincennes University and Gulf Coast State College).

Temple has been in the top three nationally in team blocks per game. Following Saturday's game, the Leopards are second with 7.1 blocks per game. Gabby Edo is fourth in the nation with 58 blocks.

Ranyiah Hunt (10.4 ppg), Korina Garcia (9.7 ppg), Edo (7.2 ppg), Antronea Jackson (7.2 ppg), Emori Lasalle (6.6), and Ke'myreul Wheaton (6.2 ppg).

Through 15 games, Weatherford has averaged 82.8 points per game and allowed 71.9 points on average. The Coyotes shoot 43.7% from the floor, 28.1% from behind the three-point arc, and convert 68.5% of their free-throws.

Weatherford pulls down 13.9 offensive rebounds per game, 27.3 defensive rebounds, and totals 41.2 boards per contest. The Coyotes average 20 assists, 13.3 steals, and 2.1 blocks per game.

Neso Anisiobi (15 ppg), Albane Beyaert (13.1 ppg), Maiya Wesley (10.9 ppg), Anja Djukic *9.3 ppg), and Lauryn Ebara (8.8 ppg) are the Coyotes' leading scorers.

Following Wednesday's road game, the Leopards will take on Southwestern Christian College at Kirby Johnson Court on Saturday at 2 pm.
