Temple women's basketball hosts Hill College Saturday at Kirby Johnson Court

The Temple College women's basketball team will continue their North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference home schedule on Saturday as they take on Hill College.

Tip off time at Kirby Johnson Court is slated for 2 pm.

Temple (11-6 overall, 6-2 road, 1-2 NTJCAC) is coming off a 72-67 loss to Grayson College in Denison on Wednesday.

Hill (10-6 overall, 2-3 road, 1-1 NTJCAC) is coming off an 80-76 loss at Weatherford College on Wednesday night.

When the teams met in 2025, Temple won at Bob Bullock Sports Center in January, 81-47, and won by forfeit in February.

Through 16 games, Temple averages 67.4 points per game and allows 55.4. The Leopards average 32.1% from the floor, 27.3% from beyond the three-point arc, and convert 64.1% at the free-throw line.

The Leopards have been amongst the country's best at rebounds and blocks.

Offensively, the Leopards average 17.9 boards per game, tied for fourth nationally with South Plains College. Defensively, the Leopards pull down 28.8 rebounds per game, 38th nationally. Overall, Temple averages 46.8 rebounds per game, with a margin of 15.2 per game (11th best).

Temple has been in the top three nationally in team blocks per game. Following Wednesday's game, the Leopards are second with 6.8 blocks per game. Gabby Edo is third in the nation with 54 blocks.

Ranyiah Hunt (10.4 ppg), Korina Garcia (9.9 ppg), Edo (7.0 ppg), Ke'myreul Wheaton (6.6 ppg), Antronea Jackson (6.6 ppg), and Daija Mitchell (6.1 ppg) are the leading scorers for Temple.

Through 16 games, Hill has averaged 74.2 points per game and allowed 64.2 points on average. The Rebels shoot 37.7% from the floor, 30.3% from behind the three-point arc, and convert 62.5% of their free-throws.

Kiah Goynes (15.4 ppg), Ava Batty (13. ppg), and Kahmarie Hardeman (11.0 ppg) are the top three scorers for the Rebels.
