With just three games left in NTJCAC play, the Temple College Leopards women's basketball team (18-9) will take on Southwestern Christian College (0-23) on Wednesday.

The teams played in Terrell on Jan. 26 with the Leopards having won handily, 83-44. The Leopards forced 28 turnovers, had 19 assists, and blocked eight shots.
Though Mychal White was the only one that scored in double figures with 21 points, four other Leopards nearly ended up with double doubles: Aniyah Lewis (nine points, 13 rebounds), Biva Byrd (nine points, 12 rebounds), Gabby Edo (eight points, ten rebounds, six blocks), and Shay Morgan (nine points, seven rebounds).
The Leopards have averaged 76.3 points per game overall and 71.6 points per game in conference action. Temple has averaged 39.3% from the field, 32.1% from behind the three-point line, and 67.3% from the free-throw line.
White (15.6 ppg overall, 16.8 ppg in conference), Jaylice Rosario (14.6 ppg overall, 16.3 ppg in conference), and Imani McCray (11 ppg overall, 9.9 ppg in conference) are Temple's top three scorers.
Defensively, Temple yields 64 points per game overall and 63.2 points per game in conference.
Southwestern Christian College averages 50 points per game overall, though they average 52.6 points per game in conference. The Rams shoot 27.4% from the field, 24.8% from beyond the arc, and 60.7% from the free-throw line.
Elasia Yarborough (15.2 ppg overall, 14.3 ppg in conference), Zoe Brown (7.3 ppg overall, 7.6 ppg in conference), and Takiyah Lewis (6.6 ppg overall, 7 ppg in conference) are the top scorers for the Rams.
Southwestern Christian yields 84.5 ppg overall, and 83.7 ppg in conference.
Temple and Weatherford College at tied at 8-5 in a deadlock for the fourth and final playoff spot. Wins by both schools, or a loss by Cisco College on Wednesday, would eliminate Cisco. The Leopards take on MCC on March 5 in Waco before taking on the Wranglers on March 8.
