The Temple College women's basketball team took on the Grayson College Vikings on Saturday afternoon in Denison.

Grayson had strong second and fourth quarters to power past the Leopards. 81-64.

Temple led at the end of the first quarter, 17-16.

The Vikings outscored the Leopards 18-10 in the second period and held a seven-point lead at the half, 34-27.

Grayson extended their lead out to ten by the end of the third quarter, 56-46.

The Vikings 25-18 fourth quarter extended the final advantage to 17 points.

Jaylice Rosario led the Leopards with 24 points, on 8-of-14 from the field, 7-of-11 from the free-throw line, and grabbed seven rebounds. Mychal White added 13 points, and Biva Byrd and Janiya Davis chipped in eight points each.

Temple will host Hill College on Wednesday at Kirby Johnson Court at 5 pm. The Leopards defeated Hill in Hillsboro on Jan. 18, 81-47.
