Temple College looked to keep up with the pack in the NTJCAC race as they took on Southwestern Christian College on Saturday afternoon in Terrell.
The Leopards dominated the Rams in the first half and went on to win 83-44.
TC used timely baskets and used solid defense to outscore SWCC in the first quarter, 17-7.
Mychal White scored eight of Temple's 20 second-quarter points as the Leopards led at the half, 37-12.
The Leopards' biggest quarter of the game came in the third as seven Leopards combined for 25 points and gave Temple a comfortable 62-27 lead at the end of the period.
TC continued to rotate their bench into the game as they outscored the Rams in the final quarter, 21-17.
White led the Leopards with 21 points. Aniyah Lewis added 11 points, Shay Morgan scored ten, and Kyla Clark added ten fourth-quarter points.
Temple returns to action on Feb. 1 as they will host McLennan Community College at 2 pm.
