The Temple College women's basketball team will host the 2024 Temple Classic this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 6-7) at Danny J. Scott Athletic Complex's Kirby Johnson Court.
Four longtime National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association members will play two games each day.
Temple College and Cisco College are in Region V's North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC), and Tyler Junior College and Angelina College are in Region XIV.

Snapshot: White's 40-point night against Jarvis Christian University stands out as the high-point performance of the season to date. Rosario has six double-digit point games. Temple outrebounds its opponents 42.8-37.7 per contest and forces more turnovers (19.4) than on offense (12.3). Temple's offensive output (81.7 points per game) is the highest of the teams in the field.
Cisco College Wranglers (Head coach Brock Kimball): 6-1 overall, 2-1 home, away 1-0, Neutral 3-0, 65.7 per game for, 52.4 per game against.

Snapshot: The Wranglers have won by two scores or more in all six wins. Two of the wins on Cisco's schedule have been over WOSC, once in Midland and the other on their home court. Although the Wranglers do not have a double-digit scorer, their scoring is balanced, with solid defense. Their defensive average (52.4) is the lowest of any team in the Temple Classic field.

Snapshot: While Angelina has notched two wins over NTJCAC squads, all four losses for Angelina to date have been to three ranked teams. MCC has downed the Roadrunners at two different tournaments. McMahon is the Roadrunners' top scorer, scoring nearly doubles of the next teammate behind her. When the Roadrunners take on Cisco on Friday, it will be their first game in 16 days.
