The Temple College men's basketball team will take Dallas College – Cedar Valley Monday evening at Kirby Johnson Court.

Game time is 7 pm.

The Leopards (2-1) are coming off a late 87-85 loss to Navarro College Friday night in Corsicana. Temple led 48-37 at the half, but a late rally by the Bulldogs gave the home-standers the win.

Jaymes Brown-Peterson led the Leopards with 20 points on 6-of-8 from the floor, 2-of-2 from behind the three-point line, and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line.

The Leopards are averaging 103 points per game, 50% from the field, 37.5% from behind the three-point line, and 65% from the charity stripe through three games.

Cedar Valley (0-1) dropped a Saturday matchup to OnPoint Academy 98-92. The Suns trailed at the half, 43-32. However, their 60-55 rally in the second half left the Suns short by six points.

Marcel Hurst scored 27 points off the bench, which included 13-of-15 from the free throw line, to lead the Suns. Larry Lyons added 20 points, Jordyn Johnson chipped in 16, and Emmitt Blevins poured in 12 for Cedar Valley.
